On May 7, Anhui Daoruiwei New Materials Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for a 90000-ton-per-year production project of lithium battery-specific new materials.
On May 9, Shanying International Holdings Co., Ltd. stated on its investor interaction platform that the first-phase 900000-ton production capacity of its Suzhou Shanying project is scheduled to be fully commissioned by mid-2025.
On May 10, four base paper production lines of Gansu Yusen’s Phase I household paper project were simultaneously put into operation. TM1, supplied by Shanghai Qingliang Industry Co., Ltd., has a paper width of 2850 mm and a design speed of 1600 m/min. TM2, TM3, and TM4 were supplied by Valmet (Finland), each with a width of 3500 mm and a design speed of 1600 m/min. The combined annual capacity of the four machines is approximately 115000 tons.
On May 8, the groundbreaking ceremony for Yusheng’s intelligent manufacturing base for 1.9 billion pieces per year of mid-to-high-end hygiene products was held in Huai’an Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a total investment of RMB 3 billion.

On May 19, Yunnan Yuntou Forestry Pulp & Paper announced the official operation of its No. 2 fluff pulp production line, doubling its annual capacity from 100,000 tons to 200,000 tons.

On May 23, Shandong Jiefeng Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. officially announced the construction project launch of “Smart Pulp and Paper Production Line Test Workshop” and “Smart Manufacturing Digital Production Workshop”. Projects are going to begin construction from August 2025 and put into operation in March 2026.

The draft of the Environmental Impact Assessment Report for the technological transformation and upgrading project of Shandong International Paper Industry Sun Paperboard Co., Ltd. with an annual output of 480,000 tons of high-end liquid packaging paper was announced. The annual production capacity of cigarette cards and copper plate cards will reach 480,000 tons after technological transformation.
Recently, the PM8 long net corrugated paper machine from Anhui Yongrun Paper Co., Ltd. was operated successfully. The paper machine has a width of 5480 mm and a design speed of 900 m/min.
Recently, the high-strength PM8 corrugated paper production line from Anhui Zhaolong Paper was successfully put into production with an annual output of 250,000 t. The paper machine has a width of 5400 mm and a design speed of 850 m/min.
